Nanaimo Contemporary Ballet's The 4 Seasons is an innovative and dynamic production that celebrates the beauty and diversity of the natural world through the art of contemporary ballet. Produced and directed by Chantelle Ristine in collaboration with NCB Company and the delightful edition of NCB Petite, this breathtaking production is sure to be an unforgettable theatre experience for all ages.
"The 4 Seasons" features original choreography and live musical accompaniment capturing each season's unique flair and feeling. With special guest creations by Justine Fraser(Coastal City Ballet), Julie England(Pulse Dance Centre), Angela Mousseau(VAB and WestCoast), and emerging choreography by Neisha de Jong Pedlow and Moira Wishinski.
With piano by Pippa Williams and violin by Jessica Sandl and projection and lighting by Jason King(Ballet Victoria).

Since 2016 NCB has been offering emerging artists a platform for artistic expression through performance, workshops, and collaboration. Nanaimo Contemporary Ballet also offers weekly technique classes in its newly renovated studios above Harbour City Fitness and Tanning offering classes in - Adult Ballet, Parent Tot, Open Ballet, Pointe, Contemporary, PBT, and Acrobatic Arts.
