RAINCITY

https://www.thatbandraincity.com/

Described as “an acid trip struck by lightning” and “the rebellious daughter of goth and ska”, Raincity is a Vancouver-based Glam-Rock band fronted by women on saxophone and vocals. The five members of Raincity combine their eclectic influences including Moon Hooch, Amy Winehouse, Queen, and Rage Against the Machine. They have performed over 350 shows since their inception opening for acts such as Too Many Zooz, Bif Naked, Lucky Chops, and Five Alarm Funk. In 2022 they released their debut album “A Proper Latte” followed by a 19 date Canadian tour. They released a Canadian cover album, "ohyeanofursurebud", early in 2023.

VOGUE VILLAINS

https://www.voguevillains.com/

Vogue Villains are a hard rocking alternative band with a musical foundation planted firmly in catchy melodies and multipart harmonies. The live sound? Is big, dirty and full of raw energy while also having a humorous stage presence that goes hand in hand with their tongue in cheek lyrical sensibilities. Set on making music that feels unique, yet unafraid to wear the boys many influences on their sleeves, this powerhouse of a band has created a sound that is undeniably and unmistakably VV.

Since debuting on Vancouver Island BC, they have performed all over Western Canada opening for notable rock acts We Hunt Buffalo, & Wise Youngblood as well as taking part in the ALIVE and 39 Days of July Festivals.

WET FUTURE

https://www.wetfutureband.com/

Wet Future hails from the Canadian west-coast, yet their tantalizing music compares to the excitement from Brooklyn blues bands or LA punk-rock scenes. This high octane alt-rock group consistently delivers the goods with a wildly sinister live-stage presence and an emphasis on creating a massive, raw sound that fans of many genres can get behind. Combining brutally honest lyrics with driving melodies, the group is looking for attention from their recently released full length album titled “Under The Weather”. Under the Weather is a window into the triumphant yet vulnerable spaces that Wet Future creates for its audiences. A start to finish listen is a satisfying journey through a roller coaster of emotions that, when blended together, feels like a perfect mix of both familiar and fresh sounds.
