ECHO Players (Qualicum Beach) presents Yesteryear (Joanna McClelland Glass), a drama/comedy directed by Stephen Torrence for the 2020 North Island Zone Festival.
Yesteryear is a beautifully written comic love story with great characters, some backroom tippling, gossip, hockey talk, salty language and even a local bordello. Brimming with the romantic optimism of the post-war era, this heartwarming tale brings the hopeful message that love can be lovelier the second time around.
